Experience community around the Main Street Town Square!
Join us in beautiful Central Park every Thursday evening from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM, running from mid-May through mid-October.
Whether you’re hunting for the freshest local ingredients, looking for a unique handcrafted gift, or just wanting a fun night out with the family, the market is the heartbeat of downtown Washington on a Thursday night.
What to Expect & When to Visit
Browse an incredible lineup of local makers, bakers, and growers
Skip cooking and grab a bite from up to three different food trucks hosted weekly
Enjoy live music during the market through our partnership with the Washington Chamber of Commerce each night at 5:30p
Stick around after you shop! The Washington Municipal Band takes the stage at 7:45p (June through mid-August)
Early in the season (May through June), the market is bursting with fresh-cut flowers, microgreens, gorgeous local crafts (like custom cutting boards, candles, and jewelry), and an unbeatable selection of fresh breads, danishes, and cakes. By late June, our tables are overflowing with peak-season produce tomatoes, squash, sweet corn, eggplant, and more!
Bring the kids for face painting, balloon animals, fresh-squeezed lemonade, and our Little Market Book Club! Thanks to our amazing local sponsors, every child in attendance can pick out a FREE book to take home each week.
Payment Info: Most of our vendors gladly accept cards or Venmo, but it’s always a good idea to bring a little cash along just in case!
Look for the friendly faces at our Market Info Table, permanently located on the north side of the Central Park fountain. We’re 100% volunteer run & always here to help! Want to join us as a vendor?
